Massage Therapy treatments offered in the clinic

At every stage of pregnancy, treatment with a registered massage therapist can be helpful in reducing discomfort associated with these changes by decreasing stress on weight bearing joints, calming the nervous system, and infusing a little self love into each session.
Postpartum massage is designed to support you at a time when your body is recovering, adjusting, and learning new physical demands. Feeding, carrying, rocking, and spending long hours in new positions can lead to tension in the neck, shoulders, back, hips, and wrists.
If you’ve had a Caesarean, many are left wondering what else they can do to help themselves in their recovery journey. The three cornerstones of c-section recovery are: compression, core engagement and scar mobility. It’s with scar mobility that cesarean massage comes into play.
Your treatment may include gentle assessment and hands-on work to help relieve common aches and pains, reduce muscle tension, and support your body as it heals and adapts to caring for a new baby.

Massage therapy is a great way for kids to experience working with a healthcare professional, as well as practicing bodily autonomy and learning about consent and safe touch.
Kids with growing pains, anxiety, or an injury are also well suited to try massage therapy. We try to infuse education and fun into every treatment!

It is a common misconception that one should constant rest when they are in pain. Therapeutic exercises, in addition to massage therapy, can help improve your strength and mobility. It’s also a great way to restore function and live a pain-free life.
